Speaking exclusively to Firstpost, the actress was quoted saying, “It had been a wonderful experience working with Rajpal Yadav on the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 set.”
It has been a tough time for veteran actor Rajpal Yadav, who surrendered himself recently in Tihar Jail after he was unable to replay the loan of Rs 9 crore that he took to make his 2010 film Ata Pata Laapata. Amid this, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actress Rose Sardana has recalled her memories of working with the actor.
Speaking exclusively to Firstpost, the actress was quoted saying, “It had been a wonderful experience working with Rajpal Yadav sir on the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 set. He is truly down-to-earth. We all love him so much as “Chota pandit”. He cracks random jokes, sits with the entire cast, and talks freely with everyone.”
Sardana added, “During the climax scene of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, if you guys noticed, he is covered in tight white bandages all over his body referring to Shahrukh’s sir “Jawan” character. I still remember how that entire bandage attire never even allowed him to sit, he was so in pain but yet he never complained. He continued performing with full dedication and the same cheerful spirit. Rajpal sir is truly a gem of a person.”
Sonu Sood extends help
On February 4, 2026, the court rejected a “mercy plea” for a week’s extension to arrange funds, as the judge observed that Yadav had failed to honour nearly 20 different undertakings in the past. The court maintained that the law rewards compliance rather than contempt and criticised the actor for showing “scant respect” for judicial orders.
The actor tweeted- “Rajpal Yadav is a gifted actor who has given years of unforgettable work to our industry. Sometimes life turns unfair, not because of talent, but because timing can be brutal. He will be part of my film, and I believe this is the moment for all of us..producers, directors, colleagues to stand together.”
Sood added, “A small signing amount, adjustable against future work, is not charity, it’s dignity. When one of our own is going through a tough phase, the industry must remind him he’s not alone. This is how we show we are more than just an industry.”
