The bodies of two men and a woman were discovered beneath the collapsed roof, a spokesperson for the disaster management authority said.

More than 40 paramedics and 18 emergency vehicles were dispatched to the site as rescue efforts continued through the morning.

At a news conference on Friday, a spokesperson for the Pest County Police Headquarters said an explosion in one of the rooms likely triggered the fire. Several irregularities were also identified in the building, including gas usage that did not comply with regulations.
