Leeds United vs Manchester United LIVE Score: Ruben Amorim’s Red Devils are aiming to bounce back from a draw and win to get into the top four in the Premier League as they visit Leeds for Matchday 20 clash on Sunday, January 4.

Manchester United are up against Leeds United in this Matchday 20 clash in the Premier League 2025-26 at the Elland Road on Sunday, January 4. United come into the game with a chance to get into the top four of the Premier League but Leeds would not be an easy side to tackle even as they struggle to find wins.

United were frustrated by a relegation-threatened Wolves in their last Premier League encounter. United who were struggling with the availability of some of their key players were held for a
1-1 draw by Wolves.

Leeds vs Man United preview

Despite the poor result, Amorim’s men remain just three points shy of the top four and they would get a chance against Leeds to get into the Champions League qualification zone. United will be confident by the fact that they are on a 25-game unbeaten run against newly-promoted teams. However, Leeds have shown they can take on the best.

Also, United will continue to be without some of their main men. Harry Maguire, Matthijs de Ligt and Bruno Fernandes are all out injured while the African stars are away in the AFCON.

Leeds enter the match on the back of a confidence boosting goalless draw at the Anfield against Liverpool. With the solid result against the Reds, Leeds now have a seven-point advantage over the Premier League relegation zone teams. The Whites have now gone six matches without a defeat even as they have won only two of these games.

The Manchester United-Leeds United rivalry is a historic one even though the two teams have rarely shared divisions in the recent past. The match-up between the two is heavily tilted towards the Red Devils who have been only defeated once by Leeds in last 19 matches.

Leeds last win against United came way back in January 2010 but with Amorim’s side without their best players and the Whites on an unbeaten run, anything can happen.
