The company has appointed two distributors in Bengaluru
Alpinestars gear has been available in India for many years now, but through just a few channels and with a limited line-up of products. The Italian company has now taken a big step towards its commitment to the Indian market by setting up a dedicated local office, as well as appointing two fresh distributors.
Both the new distributors are Bengaluru based and they will each cater to a different category of gear. House of Machines will retain racing and sport gear including things like one piece leather suits and off road gear. HoM will also retail jackets and pants for road use as well as protective armour and apparel for off road riding. In addition to this, HoM will also retail Alpinestars’ renowned line of Tech-Air airbag protection systems and, more crucially, offer service support for them.
BigBadBikes will handle the distribution of Alpinestars’ All Terra adventure products including Halo riding gear, Andes touring products as well as MX gear and protection. Both distributors will also stock a range of casual sportswear and accessories.
In addition to the above two distributors, Alpinetsars has appointed Reise Moto as a key retail partner. Reise will offer a selection of Alpinestars motorcycle apparel, accessories, and protection through its experience stores across Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurugram, Mumbai and Pune.
While a large section of the company’s riding gear will be available in India soon, items like helmets and boots won’t be on sale for the near future until the company is able to obtain the required BIS certification. That being said, the company says that there will be a “wider rollout of technical protective and casual footwear throughout the year, homologated to Bureau of Indian Standards regulations.
As for availability, popular items in the road, track and MX lines are already on sale, but the company says it will be adding to this list over the next few months, and that the new Spring 2026 motorcycle collection should go on sale in India soon
