The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) has awarded the Jetour T2 a full five-star safety rating – Adult Occupant Protection: 29.74/32 and Child Occupant Protection: 40.63/51. This comes amid a recent design patent filing for a T2-based SUV in India. For those unaware, JSW Motors has partnered with Chery, parent of Jetour, to launch a rebadged version of the T2 here by the end of this year or early 2027.
