India may receive 20 million barrels of oil by March-end despite disruptions: Former BPCL chief

Former BPCL CMD G. Krishnakumar said around 130 million barrels of crude are currently floating at sea, with nearly 45–50 million barrels expected to arrive in India within two weeks. However, he estimates only about 20 million barrels may realistically reach India by March-end depending on transit times and pricing. He added that India has sufficient supplies for roughly two months despite disruptions. Former GAIL chief Sandeep Kumar Gupta said essential gas demand can also be managed even if West Asia supplies face constraints.
