Iran announced that a state funeral for supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, which had been planned for Wednesday evening in Tehran, was postponed “in anticipation of unprecedented turnout,”.

Iran has delayed the state funeral of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, originally scheduled for Wednesday evening in Tehran, citing expectations of an exceptionally large public turnout, according to state television.
