Accusing the country’s Supreme Court of being influenced by “foreign interests” after it ruled that his sweeping global tariffs are illegal, US President Donald Trump on Friday termed the tariff ruling ‘deeply disappointing’
“It’s my opinion that the court has been swayed by foreign interests,” Trump told journalists.
Trump vowed Friday to use other methods to reinstate sweeping tariffs that the Supreme Court struck down, shortly after the rebuke of his signature economic policy.

“Other alternatives will now be used to replace the ones that the court incorrectly rejected,” Trump told a press conference, adding that these options could also bring in more revenue.
