The 2020 docuseries presents a detailed account of Epstein’s abuse and those who enabled him. The 2020 four-part docuseries Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, directed by Lisa Bryant, provides a comprehensive overview of the disgraced financier’s life and crimes. It is the top ten most watched shows on Netflix.
In the first episode, the Netflix’s series shows how three sisters who were victims of Jeffrey Epstein opened up to the Vanity Fair reporter about their abuse and how they were lured with money. There was more evidence of the fact that Jeffrey Epstein was hugely powerful and knew the people in power too to shut down the case.
Jeffrey Epstein’s is the ultimate story of the abuse of power and money
It was a big report that Ms. Ward filed for Vanity Fair after interviewing three of the girls who were victims of Epstein and his wild fantasies. But when the story was published, it looked like any other business story. Though the actual draft and the original story was ‘far more complicated’ with quotes from the victims.
But former Vanity Fair Editor-in- Chief, Graden Carter released the following statement: “Ms. Wards reporting on this aspect of the story came in as we were going to the press and it simply did not meet our legal threshold.”
The initial interview done by the Vanity Fair writer was just tip of the iceberg which could have acted as an indicator. But the real story wasn’t published.
Jeffrey Epstein’s neighbours’ in Palm Beach
Jeffrey Epstein had tons of new money and if you have money, you can buy your way into any society and that was the exact case for this sexual predator. He was stunningly rich. “He was living a life of what most people dream of,” said one of his neighbours.
He had 15 to 20-million-dollar house in Palm Beach, a house in Paris, private island in Caribbean, sprawling ranch in New Mexico, helicopter, two airplanes and more. Palm Beach is a small peaceful town and living there and not hearing about rumours is a little strange.
One of the girls mentioned in the Netflix’s show, “It used to all start with a massage and 200 dollars for Christmas, but…” She further added, “Before Epstein, I was something else, but after the episode, I stopped recognising myself.”
