Rajpal Yadav and Vikram Bhatt have been through a lot in their personal lives off late. Bhatt, who has been a filmmaker since 1992, was jailed along with his wife in a Rs 30-crore fraud case filed by the founder of Indira IVF Dr. Ajay Murdia. Bhatt and Murdia came together for the 2025 film Tumko Meri Kasam which bombed.

After staying in jail for over 45 days, Bhatt and his wife were granted bail. The Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to filmmaker Vikram Bhatt’s wife

A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi ordered her forthwith release from Udaipur jail and asked the Chief Judicial Magistrate to pass the bail order delineating the terms and conditions.

The top court also issued notices to complainant 
Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF and Fertility Centre and a resident of Udaipur, and the Rajasthan government for February 19.

Vikram Bhatt was arrested after Murdia filed a complaint of cheating and criminal breach of trust against the filmmaker, his wife Shwetambari Bhatt and others, alleging that funds taken in the name of a film project were misappropriated.

Rajpal Yadav faced a critical legal battle as the Delhi High Court heard his bail plea in a long-running cheque bounce and debt repayment case involving nearly Rs. 9 crore. The court on Monday granted the actor interim bail after he managed to deposit Rs. 1.50 crore by 3 pm.

Rajpal Yadav’s bail hearing was scheduled today and at 3 pm, the Delhi High Court granted him interim bail. The actor had sought bail to attend his niece’s wedding in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh on February 19. The actor paid Rs 1.5 crore to the complainant to get the bail.
