Udit Narayan had been facing severe criticism ever since a video went viral on social media of him kissing female fans at a live concert last year. In the clip, which went viral online, we see Udit Narayan performing Tip Tip Barsa Paani when his female fans gathered near the stage to take selfies with him. After clicking pics, the singer kisses them on the lips.
**Fresh trouble for the singer**
Narayan’s first wife Ranjana Jha has filed a police complaint at Supaul in Bihar against her husband and made some shocking claims. The singer is yet to break silence on the new trouble that has landed on his doorstep.
The complaint says, “Udit, left for Mumbai in 1985 to pursue his singing career. Through media reports, I later came to know that he married Deepa Narayan and since then had been staying with her. A case of marital discord and deception is already going on.”
It added, “In 1996, I was taken by Udit, his two brothers and his second wife to a prominent Delhi hospital where, under the guise of my treatment, my uterus was removed without my knowledge or consent.”
“When I went to Mumbai two decades ago, I was not allowed to enter his house. Same treatment was meted out to me when I went to my in-laws house, following which I lodged a police case in 2006. Eventually, Udit then promised to support me financially.”
Ranjana Jha, Narayan’s wife’s legal representative, Ajay Kumar said she wished to reconcile with the singer but he refused the same. Udit Narayan is married to Deepa Gahatraj and they are blessed with a son Aditya Narayan. But little did his fans and even his first wife knew he secretly tied the knot for the second time.
