Waiting period differs according to engine, colour option
According to our dealer sources, demand for the Kia Seltos’ diesel engine is higher, resulting in a longer waiting period of 6-8 weeks compared to 4-6 weeks waiting for the naturally aspirated petrol and turbo-petrol options. Notably, the waiting period is dependent only on the engine and not on the transmission option of the Seltos.
The 2026 Kia Seltos is offered in seven trims: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX, GTX and X-Line, and the waiting period for all the trims is dependent on the chosen engine option.
The dealer sources have also suggested that the Glacier White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl colours have the least waiting period of up to 6 weeks, while Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue and Magma Red options have a waiting period of up to 8 weeks. Other colour options on the Seltos include Morning Haze, Frost Blue, Ivory Silver Gloss, Gravity Gray and Xclusive Matte, which have a waiting period of over 6 weeks.
The new Seltos comes with a 115hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, a 160hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 116hp 1.5-litre diesel engine, all of which are offered with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
The 2026 Kia Seltos is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh, and it locks horns with popular mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate.
