Royal Enfield has announced the inaugural edition of the Moroccan Odyssey 2026, marking the brand’s first marquee motorcycling expedition on the African continent. Scheduled from March 27 to April 4, 2026, the 12-day journey will span nearly 2,000 km across Morocco’s most dramatic landscapes, astride the all-terrain Himalayan 450.

The Moroccan Odyssey 2026 expedition will begin in Marrakech, before ascending the legendary Tizi n’Tichka Pass which is a 2,260m climb into the High Atlas where the roads are said to be very old. From the film-industry hub of Ouarzazate, the “Door of the Desert,” the route will descend into the vast Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga, under the Saharan sky.

From the Sahara, the expedition will turn north through the Middle Atlas, cross pine forests and high plateaus before arriving at Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. The journey then plans to thread through the “Blue Pearl” of Chefchaouen tucked high in the Rif Mountains, before finally running west to Rabat, where the road meets the Atlantic and the journey concludes.

The Moroccan Odyssey will have riders astride the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Royal Enfield says that the Moroccan Odyssey is a high-stakes curation of grit and discovery, designed for riders and seekers who crave a raw, unfiltered adventure and the profound camaraderie that can only be forged over 1,820 kilometers of shared wonder. The ride will span over 12 days and and a single registration costs Rs 2.50 lakh (including the Himalayan 450 for the duration of the ride).
