Fresh spy images have emerged of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 out on test overseas and they reveal a few new details

1. Continental GT 750 likely to be available in faired and naked versions
2. It will get a circular TFT display

RE Continental GT will get a bump in performance

The engine casing may look similar but it gets major internal rework

The new RE Continental GT 750 has been spied on multiple occasions now and in both faired as well as ‘naked’ cafe racer forms. We understand that the bike will be sold to customers in both guises, with the faired version possibly being called the Continental GT-R 750.

The latest spy images show the bike in its naked guise and the design is identical to the current Continental GT 650, although there are some mechanical changes that can be seen as well. The most obvious of these is the addition of a twin disc braking set up at the front and there’s also new Showa suspension.

What we haven’t seen before on previous test bikes is the fact that the Continental GT 750 will move to the circular TFT display that’s already in use on the Himalayan 450, Guerilla 450 and the Interceptor Bear 650. This move may upset purists who will miss the more retro circular analogue dials on the Continental GT 650, but it will give the bike a more premium feel with added functionality. The test bike is also wearing new circular LED indicators, which could also be from RE’s vast accessory catalogue.

The engine on this bike may look similar from the outside but it has significant internal revisions. Beyond the increase in cubic capacity, you can expect to see a bump in performance with peak power expected to be somewhere around 55-60hp.

The new Continental GT 750 will be the first modern 750cc Royal Enfield bike to go on sale and it is likely to be launched in the third quarter of the calendar year. As for the Himalayan 750, don’t expect to see that bike before the end of the year, with an EICMA 2026 debut most likely.
