The makers of the upcoming film Laikey Laikaa have adopted an innovative digital-first approach to launch the first song from the film, ‘Chaap Tilak’, in collaboration with Zee Music Company. The song marks actor Rasha Thadani’s debut as a singer, as she teams up with the acclaimed band Faridkot.
Breaking away from conventional music launch strategies, the song was introduced to audiences through an interactive Instagram direct message campaign. Viewers were invited to comment ‘Chaap Tilak’ on the official post, following which the song video was shared directly with them via Instagram DMs.
The initiative is being hailed as a first of its kind activation in film music promotions, creating a more personal and engaging way for audiences to discover new music.
The rollout has generated strong enthusiasm and curiosity, with audiences actively participating to access the song, resulting in organic buzz and heightened engagement across social media platforms.
