In the latest escalation in the spiralling crisis in Yemen, Saudi Arabia conducted seven airstrikes at the STC camp in Al-Khasah area of Hadramawt province, according to Mohammed Abdulmalik, the head of the STC in Wadi Hadramaut and Hadramaut Desert.
The separatist group STC is backed by United Arab Emirates (UAE) in its campaign agaisnt the Saudi-backed and internationally-recognised Yemeni government, which is formally called the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).
Since the STC launched an offensive in southern Yemen last month, Saudi Arabia has conducted three rounds of strikes against STC in Yemen.
