2025 was a relatively dormant year for Audi in India, but the German carmaker has a host of new launches lined up for 2026. Kicking things off will be Audi’s smallest SUV, the new-gen Q3, followed by the e-tron GT facelift. The carmaker also has the all-new A6 and Q6 e-tron models on cards for an India launch next year. So, let’s dive right in and see what to expect from each model.
New Audi Q3
Launch: early-2026 with estimated price of Rs 50 lakh; engine: 2.0-litre turbo-petrol
The new Audi Q3 is expected to arrive in early 2026 and will be locally assembled. The third-generation model is slightly larger than its predecessor and features a more flamboyant design. High-set LED DRLs with customisable light signatures and a large hexagonal grille – with the Audi logo doubling as the ADAS radar cover – define the front. Buyers will be able to choose between SUV and Sportback body styles, and the India-spec version is expected to ride on 18-inch wheels. Inside, 11.9-inch instruments and a 12.8-inch touchscreen form a curved display, while a column-mounted gear selector frees up space on the centre console. India will get the 204hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and standard Quattro all-wheel drive.
Audi e-tron GT facelift
Launch: Q3 2026 with an estimated price of Rs 2 crore-2.5 crore; battery: 105kWh
The facelifted e-tron GT is expected to come to India in three guises – S, RS and RS Performance. The S produces 680hp, the RS goes up to 857hp, and the range-topping Performance makes a whopping 925hp. Using all those ponies, the Performance sprints to 100kph in a staggering 2.5 seconds. Battery capacity is 105kWh that can be charged from 0-80 percent in 18 minutes using a 320kW charger. Dynamically, it benefits from an optional active suspension system that keeps the body flat during hard cornering and raises the entire car to aid ingress and egress.
Audi A6 e-tron
Launch: H2 2026 with an estimated price of Rs 1.2 crore; battery: 83-100kWh
The A6 e-tron is the second Audi model after the Q6 e-tron to be built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) shared with the Porsche Macan Electric. Available abroad in Avant (estate) and Sportback (sedan) body styles, only the latter is expected to come to India. It features Audi’s latest design language, with a body-coloured grille setting the e-tron apart. Thanks to its more organic styling and sloping roofline, this is also the most aerodynamic Audi yet. Inside, a trio of screens span the width of the dashboard. Battery options include 83kWh and 100kWh units, the latter offering a dual-motor AWD setup. The version likely for India is the 100kWh single-motor variant, producing 367hp and 565Nm, and delivering a claimed 756km on the WLTP cycle.
Audi Q6 e-tron
Launch: H2 2026 with an estimated price of Rs 1 crore; battery: 100kWh
It’s been a while coming, but 2026 is finally the year the Audi Q6 e-tron and its Sportback sibling make their India debut. Pricing should be competitive as both will likely be assembled locally from CKD kits at the Skoda Auto-VW plant in Aurangabad. Based on the PPE platform, the Q6 e-tron benefits from an 800V architecture for faster charging and improved efficiency. It’s shorter overall than the Q8 e-tron, though the wheelbase is only 29mm down, which bodes well for cabin space and comfort. Like the A6 e-tron, 83kWh and 100kWh battery packs are offered abroad, but India is likely to get the latter paired with a single rear motor. In this RWD guise, it produces 306hp and 485Nm, and delivers a WLTP range of 641km.
