Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reaffirmed that Ukraine will not concede territory to Russia as he met European leaders to discuss the US-proposed peace plan.
“We definitely do not want to give anything up. That is what we are fighting for. We have no legal right to do so under Ukrainian law, our Constitution, international law, or, to be honest, moral law,” Zelenskyy said.
After concluding his meeting in London with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Zelenskyy is headed to Brussels to meet Nato officials.
“There is slight progress towards a possible end to the war… I think the plan will be ready tomorrow. In the evening, we will discuss it again and send it to the US,” Zelensky added.
