Liverpool are reportedly open to listening to offers for Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian went on a rant against manager Arne Slot on Saturday and also slammed legendary Jamie Carragher.

Mohamed Salah have two clubs chasing him after his recent rant against Liverpool manager Arne Slot and club legend Jamie Carragher. Salah has not started the last three matches for Liverpool, being an unused substitute in two of them.

After Liverpool played out a 3-3 draw against Leeds on Saturday, Salah
went on a rant in an interview, accusing the club of broken promises, revealing a breakdown in the relationship with manager Slot and taking a dig at footballer-turned-expert Carragher for his criticism.

Carragher said last month that Salah’s “legs were gone” while criticising the Egyptian forward and Virgil van Dijk for Liverpool’s poor form. Liverpool have not won a game in their last six matches, losing four of them.

“I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame,” Salah said. “I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager, and all of a sudden we don’t have any relationship.

“…After going from home to the club and you don’t know if you are starting. I know the club too well, I have been here many years. Tomorrow Carragher is going to go for me again and again and that’s fine.”

Salah to leave Liverpool for Saudi Arabia?

The 33-year-old Salah signed a new two-year contract earlier this year with Liverpool, but he is now expected to leave in the January transfer window after he returns from the Africa Cup of Nations.

According to The Sun, Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal could make a move for Salah in January, but their bid would be nothing close to the £150 million-plus deal they made for the footballer two years ago.

According to GiveMeSport, MLS team San Diego are also pondering over making a move for Salah, and no formal approach has been made yet.

The BBC says that Liverpool are “shocked” by Salah’s outburst in the media, and while they are yet to make a transfer decision, they are ready to listen to offers.
