Putin in India LIVE: On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in India to kick start his two-day visit to the country. While India continues to remain a strong ally of Russia, this was Putin’s first visit to New Delhi since the start of the war in Ukraine in 2022. Upon arrival, Putin received a warm welcome from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who broke with the established protocols for the Russian delegation.

As per the schedule, which is subject to change, the Russian leader will also meet President Droupadi Murmu, in addition to paying tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
