CRF1100L Africa Twin recall details

This recall is related to the wiring harness of the left-hand switch

The company says continuous steering movement may cause the harness wire of the left-hand switch to bend repeatedly. Over time, this can lead to oxidation at the joint terminal, resulting in issues such as the horn not working or difficulty in switching the headlight from low to high beam.

The replacement of affected parts will be carried out free of cost, regardless of warranty status, at Honda’s BigWing Topline dealerships across India. The campaign will begin in the fourth week of January 2026.

Customers will be contacted directly via call, SMS or email. They can also check if their motorcycle is part of the recall by entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on Honda’s official website.
