Last weekend’s Las Vegas GP delivered a fresh twist in the 2025 F1 championship after both McLaren drivers were disqualified. Norris still leads the standings by 24 points, but Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri are now tied on points in second place. So, will Norris wrap up the title at Qatar?
F2 also returns to action after a two-month break. Here is your complete guide on when and where to tune in from India:
F1 Qatar GP schedule

Qatar’s Lusail International Circuit will host the final sprint round of the championship. Given the high temperatures and abrasive track surface, Pirelli has introduced a new 25-lap rule just for this round. Essentially, each set of tyres can only complete a maximum stint length of 25 laps. This means the sprint can be completed on a single set, but Sunday’s 57-lap race will see at least two pit-stops.
Coming to the title fight, with two more rounds (including a sprint race) to go, we have a total of 58 points on offer. Norris needs to outscore Verstappen or Piastri by two points at Qatar to seal the title, otherwise the title fight goes down to the wire at the Abu Dhabi finale.

F2 Qatar GP schedule

Five drivers remain in the F2 title fight, with Leonardo Fornaroli leading the standings, 19 points clear of second-placed Jak Crawford. Luke Browning, Richard Verschoor and Alexander Dunne complete the top five.
Fornaroli will get his first chance to wrap up the title this weekend at Qatar. But to do so, he’ll need a 40-point advantage by the end of the round. India’s Kush Maini is currently P16 in the standings.
