2025 BMW 3 Series LWB diesel prices start at Rs 62 lakh

The updated BMW 3 Series long wheelbase diesel variants are priced from Rs 62 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Last month, the German carmaker introduced the 2025 3 Series LWB, but at that time, only announced the price of the petrol variant. Now, the diesel-powered 3 Series LWB has also been updated on the same line.

Here’s a look at the complete price list of 2025 BMW 3 Series LWB in India:

As before, the 3 Series LWB diesel continues to be offered in M Sport and M Sport Pro trims, but BMW hasn’t brought back the M Sport Pro petrol variant which was available previously. Price for the M Sport Pro diesel variant has gone up by Rs 1 lakh; base M Sport diesel price remains unchanged.

 

BMW 3 Series LWB diesel: what’s new for 2025?

Cosmetic interior and exterior updates 

For 2025, BMW has updated the 3 Series long wheelbase with adaptive LED headlamps, a gloss black finish for the rear diffuser and new satin aluminium exterior trims. On the inside, there’s a new flat-bottomed steering wheel, redesigned AC vents and new Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite finish for some interior trims. BMW also dropped the ‘Gran Limousine’ suffix with the 2025 update, and is simply calling it 3 Series long wheelbase.

Other features like the 14.9-inch curved infotainment display, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable seats with extendable thigh support, panoramic sunroof, tri-zone automatic climate control and ADAS features have been carried over as is.

 

BMW 3 Series LWB diesel specs

3 Series LWB diesel does 0-100kph in 7.6 seconds 

Under the hood, the 3 Series LWB retains the 190hp, 400Nm, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine. It comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, sending drive to the rear wheels. BMW claims a 0-100kph sprint time of 7.6 second for the 3 Series LWB diesel. The other engine option is the 258hp, 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol.

The BMW 3 Series LWB rivals the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4 and Lexus ES in India. Of the three, only the C-Class is also available with a diesel engine. The 3 Series LWB is locally assembled at BMW’s Chennai plant.
